On our way home from Toronto
I don’t think I was ever lost for words like I was last night at 9:10 PM when Jeff and I walked up on stage at the famous “Second City” theatre in beautiful downtown Toronto to accept our Microsoft IMPACT award for the Small Business Specialist of the Year. You see it has been a great year since joining Rene, Sean, Jeff and the entire team at Bulletproof InfoTech. We truly have a very special team across our entire firm, and it is great to have you guys in my life.
It was a very odd feeling to be lost for words. I was overrun with emotion as Jeff and I walked up onto the stage and after a short debate Jeff delegated me to do the speaking on behalf of Bulletproof. Boy, I missed my chance to do my “twitter” joke as well. As we were presented our award it just hit me and realized that we are now playing to win and my year of transition has a new chapter.
You see over the past year I focused too much on the past and not enough on what we have going on. Worried about what I left behind and nervous about what I got myself into. Who would I be kidding if I didn’t have some fear deep inside me, but fear drives me to do the right thing and this is to serve our clients with the out most in professionalism and care.

It has been a great couple of days in Toronto. I managed to meet some new people and catch up with friends and family. Thanks to my Dad for driving up from Niagara to spend some time over dinner with me and also my good friend Leslie who worked with us when she was at DELL Canada. Also, my good friends still at DELL, Cecil and Ryan, thanks for lunch guys.
Not sure what else to say, the emotions are still running pretty wild…here are some links on people who covered are great prize from Microsoft.

Thanks to our entire team at Bulletproof, all of our partners (DELL, Microsoft, Scorpion Software, Techsoup, SonicWALL and all of our media partners) and especially those who worked really hard to keep a great client happy.
