Deep question for today, what is the purpose of this blog? Why do I spend time writing every night? You know it is for me and me only, I am grateful a number of people find my writing interesting however I am writing for an audience of one. Me!
When I am exhausted and ready to hit the sack after a long day, I still make an effort to write this blog. Why? The normal person maybe would say “not tonight” or “why bother”. When I searched for answers to the reason for writing every night (except for the weekends) one answer simply came to my mind. It is a habit, a good habit. Unlike the days where alcohol was a habit, this one is good. I could smoke a pack of cigarettes each day, but no…I blog.
Maybe my day simply isn’t complete without getting the thoughts in my adolescent mind out to the universe and let God do His magic. Maybe it is simply a way to express my gratitude to the world and what I feel are some of the areas which I need to work on.
Sure I share some business related stuff, really I do. The deep writing is for me. Questions like, why am I so tired? Why is my weight going up even with the extra 2.5 to 4 km I run everyday now? Why do my family members care for me? Why do I feel comfortable about who I am?
Lots of great questions and sometimes some great answers. I am so grateful for the faithful followers of this blog, even though I write for my own benefit, I also know God put me on the planet to influence, guide and sometimes protect those around me. Sharing my screw ups and my success is one way to do this. So it matters to me a number of you follow this every day.
