Well this will be official by now, the big decision I needed to make was with regards to my career. I know on my blog I have been talking about all the great stuff that is happening with IT Matters. Don’t get me wrong they are a good IT company, one of the best in Calgary, however my time with them has come to an end.
Over the next few months I will be starting to transition myself out of IT Matters. Call it executing my exit strategy. Just a little earlier than originally planned.
So what is Stuart Crawford going to do next?
Well my friends, that is a great question. I have few options that are in the works and I need to seriously look at them all. It really depends on what the market is ready for. I have a passion of working with IT partners and helping partners succeed with what they do. This is why I work with HTG and in the past I have volunteered to work with a number of Advisory Councils.
I will be working with IT partners to some degree. I have some ideas around training and development of sales people, making marketing geniuses out of IT professionals and many other ideas related to business growth for IT partners.
So lots of things on the go. All I can tell you is that I have become very tired and burnt out with the day to day IT business. Challenges with people, clients and other things have really worn me out to the point that I risk losing my passion for the IT industry.
