I highly recommend that all companies go through the SWOT process! PERIOD!
Why is this? It is my belief that all businesses need a refreshing look at their business from outside influences every once in a while just to make sure that everything is on track. Why did I choose Arlin and the guys to help with a SWOT? It is a simple answer really, we need to make sure we have a plan to take IT Matters to the next level as a company and to really make our mark in the Calgary small business marketplace.
I will not go into any personal details about what occurred or transpired, it was all good, and a wonderful experience. The one thing that I did learn from day one is that I need to understand more about business, when it comes to understanding business logic, I am great at sales and marketing however some other skills are just a little rusty. So I need to commit to myself to understand this important part of my life.
That raises another big thing. Committment. I haven’t been the strongest at this either in my life. I have flip flopped my way through life for a very long time, running away from struggles and conflict and not fully committing to myself with anything. I understand now that this must change in order to take Stuart Crawford to the next level and also IT Matters to the next level. This is a must and I am going to do this. I am going to play a crucial part in the next generation of IT Matters.
If you are a small business partner I highly recommend going through the SWOT to really take your business to new areas and get the most satisfaction out of what you do.
