Are you the conduit?

Back a few years ago, I wrote in my blog about road blocks in my life.  Boy, was I in a different state of mind at that time.  I wrote about smashing through barriers, blockages, and road blocks or simply going around those that tried to slow you down.  I wish I had that posting now, however, it is nowhere to be found, you will have to trust me on this one.

On Sunday I received a very special email from my good friend David Lee in Ottawa.  I was fortunate to meet David last year at SMB Nation in Redmond and we have become good friends since then.  David wrote to me thanking me for what I did with our MS-HTG online group.  I got thinking on his email and especially as Arlin and I are tuning up our first HTG Canada group for June 2 and 3 in Calgary, that we are just the conduits doing the work for those in our community and channeling energy and guidance onto our members and friends.  We are not the creator of the message, we are just the conduit to spreading the word.

This week I invited some dear friends and colleagues of mine to share something very special to me.  Every morning a special piece of conduit is hard at work spreading the news of God and the world in which we live in.  Arlin has a daily email list has about 100 friends and family members on it now.  This small list has really grown.  This is a great testimony to the power of being a conduit of the message.

Even my own blog has 27 subscribers now from all across the world and another 60 or so that check daily.  I use this opportunity to spread the message and how God, life and other happenings impact my own world.  Even the funky red sky outside my back door requires an honourable mention.  I write on how music affects me, how my business affects me, how God affects me and how everything affects me.

This is just me being a conduit and also letting my guard down for a bit.  I still remember the words that Karl Bryan shared with me once “The same walls that protect me, stop me”.  What walls are you not allowing those that are conduits to come through, to touch you deep inside, even if it is just for a second.
