Are you the results of your choices?

Where are you in your life? 

Are you happy with the current results that you have?  Only you have the control in your life about where you are right now.  What I am told when I speak with a number of friends and colleagues about being totally excited about where they are in their life they tell me that it was because they made the right choices in their life. 

What about those constant complainers in life?  When they are the ones that blame others for everything that is wrong in their life.  Did you see the shift there?  The successful people in life take responsibility for everything that has happened in their life, sure they have made wrong decisions, done some stupid things and a few awesome things as well.  They take responsibility for everything.  The complainers blame everything around them, they blame their teachers, pastors, friends, bosses, coworkers and clients. 

Do you take responsibility or do you complain for what is happening around you or who you are today?

You need to remember that everything in life happens for a reason, you are the result of your life choices, if you are engaged or disassociate with life.  You are responsible for your financial situation right now!  The choices you made have lead you to where you are today, do you love it?  Or do you wish you can change something?

I will let the cat of the bag here, my creative juices are having a hard time flowing.  Why is that?  I was watching a show on my Bell ExpressVu PVR that aired on the CBC Documentary channel, this show was highlighting the Heavy Metal Years in the music industry.  They interview my favourite guitar player of all time, Mr. Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath (awesome left handed guitar genius), well in the interview Tony commented on the firing of Ozzy Osbourne in 1978 because creative juices just stopped flowing, he couldn’t write any new.  So even I take responsibility to why my creative juices are stuck?  What can I do to change that?  I can’t change anyone around me, I can only be responsible to myself and decide to make a new choice on my own.  I cannot blame anyone for this lack of creativity except myself.

Who did you blame today?  Who did you blame for your company losing a deal?  Who did you blame for this or that happening.  As it says in Jay Fiset’s book “Reframe Your Blame” it is time to be accountable to your yourself and accept responsibility for where you are in your life.
