Everyday I am still in shock with the beauty that the creator has done on this earth. I went out to Banff for dinner last night and it was an awesome experience at Chili’s on the main drag of the town of Banff. On the way home last night the full moon was hidden behind one of the mountain vistas, the glow of the moon cast a picture that was truly God’s work. The vision was simply amazing. You really had to see it, it was beautiful, and true image of the power of the Lord.
The lesson at Church this morning was Stewardship, what are you doing in your life that promotes stewardship? What do you do to give back to your community? What do you do to give back to those that your work with (This is an area I know I need to work on)?
Do you approach life with an attitude of gratitude? In my monthly mentoring program from Raymond Aaron this is one area that is worked on. Gratitude! Have you shown gratitude to someone this week? In Proverbs 11:24,25 – Give and gain, withhold and lose is the message. That is a powerful message. So if you give of your financial gifts, your talents or your skills – you will win in your life. If you hold all those talents and skills inside, you will eventually lose out in life. Are you willing to risk losing all the joys in life? I am speaking from personal experience on this one. I have withheld so many of my gifts in life, it is never to late to start sharing of your gifts and talents. Also giving on your financial gains will reap big rewards in your life.
Another criticial part of life as well is mentioned in the Book of Revelation 3:20 – Giving Christ permission to enter your life. Have you given God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit permission to enter in your life. Perhaps you still have that door closed. I was once that way, I had the door closed, the only that mattered in life was me. I lived such as shallow life! Now I am working on the path of fulfillment and letting Christ into my life.
