Today, like every Sunday since the end of May I attended church service at the First Lutheran Church in Strathcona. For those who are not familiar with Calgary, Strathcona is on the western edge of the city. I enjoy worship at First Lutheran and I am starting to gain some very valuable friendships with other members of our church.
Today, I was asked to put some of natural gifts to work for our 9 AM service. Our church is very technically advanced. We have a state of the art sound system and audio/visual presentation system. I was asked to run some the AV systems that we use when singing or following our Pastor’s sermon. I have to admit that it was very fullfilling to offer my gifts to our church in this manner. I left today feeling joy and happiness.
I encourage you to find something in your life that you a natural gifted at, and offer these gifts to others. The rewards are wonderful.
